Shannon Blosser is the pastor of Pea Ridge United Methodist Church in Huntington, W.Va. He is an ordained elder in the West Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. Shannon’s theological focus is centered in the Wesleyan tradition. He is particularly focused on public theology, which is how theology engages social issues and culture.
Prior to entering the ministry, Shannon wrote professionally as a sports and news writer for newspapers in West Virginia and North Carolina. He also wrote for a public policy organization that focused on higher education reform. Shannon lives in Huntington with his wife, Abbi, sons, Noah and Tad, and their cat, George. He is an alum of West Virginia University and Asbury Theological Seminary. In his spare time, you can find Shannon watching WVU athletics, St. Louis Cardinals baseball, or attempting to play golf.
